Sign up for the

Teen Sharpie Tie Dye Program
on July 23rd from 1-4 PM


Help end Teen Summer Reading with a Sharpie Tie Dye program for Teens entering 5th grade and up. Participants will be able to tie dye shirts using sharpie markers. All supplies will be provided. Teens must sign up for this program at the 2nd floor Reference Desk. Space is limited. Refreshments will be provided.

Teen Game Tournament
Wednesday, June 18th
from 1-4 PM




5th Grade and UpKick off Teen Summer Reading with a Bracket Game Tournament at the library. Rock Band, DDR, Guitar Hero and more. Prizes will be awarded. Bring your competitive spirit and show your skill! Teens in 5th grade and up are welcome to attend. Snacks and drinks will be provided. Registration is required. Please sign up at the 2nd Floor Reference Desk.

Summer Reading Info


Area teens are invited to Get in the Game - READ this summer by participating in the River Forest Public Library’s teen summer reading program. Teens are encouraged to come to the library and read for prizes as well as to take part in special events offered throughout the summer. Stop by the Reference Desk or call 708-366-5205 ext 316 for more information. Visit the blog for updates.

The Challenge:


- Read 6 books of your choice between June 16th and July 25th

- Fill out a book log for every book you read (up to 6) and collect a prize

- Every book log you fill out will be an entry for additional fantastic prizes (Including but not limited to Nintendo DS game systems)
